Playing in the Orchestra is the greatest musical adventure teenagers can have. You’ll soar as a musician. Perform on iconic stages. Master new music and new ideas. And play your part as a changemaker for your generation.
Musicians will be playing at a level equivalent to Grade 8 or above, but with no need for graded exams. You’ll be 13-18 years old, a British citizen or living or studying in the UK. Register your interest in the Orchestra of 2028 and
get notified when applications open!
By signing up, you'll also receive
invites to free one-off NYO side-by-side events — your chance to play and
experience orchestral music and get an intro to the NYO Community.
